Faculty can schedule their upcoming tests and Exams in the DS Portal for students who have requested Accommodations and qualify for testing services. The benefits of scheduling ahead of time are the following:

  • Students can select the test date/time that you scheduled, which will minimize errors created when the student schedules the incorrect date/time
  • You will have the opportunity to provide the test proctoring instructions and upload the test materials early, which helps us be prepared for your students

The following instructions explain how to schedule a test:

  1. Go to DS Portal 
  2. Click the DS Faculty Portal icon

  3. Click the Courses tab

  4. Enter your NinerNET username and password (not your email, do not include

  5. Your courses are listed here. Click the Test and Exams link that corresponds to the course where you want to post upcoming tests

  6. Under Tell us about an upcoming test, select the date of the upcoming test. Click the Add this test button

  7. For Final Exams, click the checkbox This is a final exam at the top of the page
  8. Enter the correct start/end times to reflect the duration of the In-Class test. Do not enter the extended time as this will be calculated later by the DS Portal system. Click Next

  9. If no students have selected a test time, the list will be blank. Click Next

  10. Enter the test proctoring requirements, delivery, and return information

  11. A summary of your test information will be listed. If uploading test material(s), you can upload on this page
  12. Click Submit changes
