  1. Below is a list of differences.
    1. Standalone Citrix Receiver:
      1. You will have access to local computing resources; such as printers, thumb drives, local hard drives, etc.
      2. According to customer feedback, it tends to maintain a better connection.
      3. The application you use will display in a separate window, much like it would if it was actually installed on the computer.
    2. Browser with Citrix Receiver (Full version - Recommended):
      1. When logging in through citrix.uncc.edu you have the option to select Detect Receiver.  Use this option if you have or want the Citrix Receiver installed, but are opening Citrix through your browser instead of opening the Citrix Receiver directly.

      3. The application you use will display in a separate window, much like it would if it was actually installed on the computer.
    3. Browser Only (Light version):  
      1. When logging in through citrix.uncc.edu you have the option to select Use light version. Use this option when you can't install the Citrix Receiver.
