  1. Follow these steps to purchase a new University computer:
Dell ComputerApple Computer
  1. Log into 49er Mart
  2. Click the Dell link under Computer/Technology
  3. Choose desired computer
  4. Make custom changes, if needed
  5. Save as an e-quote
  6. Submit to business manager or responsible party in your department
  1. Go to the Apple Store for Education Institution website
  2. Select the desired model
  3. If needed, make custom changes by clicking the Configure button
  4. Click Add to Cart
  5. While in the cart...
    1. Check the box for 3-Year AppleCare+ for Schools
    2. Select North Carolina for the state and enter 28223 for the Zip Code
    3. Click Update - total price will be updated
  6. Click Send Cart
  7. Complete the form with...
    1. Your contact information
    2. Purchaser Email Address can be left blank
    3. Add any additional Comments
    4. In the Send Copy To: field, add ninertechorders@uncc.edu plus any other appropriate addresses (e.g. department business officer)
  8. Click Submit
  9. The order will be sent to begin processing

Non-standard Dell and all Apple orders will be reviewed by ITS before being placed.
